Battling Eczema: What’s helping on our Journey

For almost five years, my family has been navigating the challenging world of eczema. My two sons, ages almost 5 and 2, have both been struggling with this relentless condition. My eldest son has had eczema since he was six months old, and my youngest began showing symptoms at age one. The constant itching, flare-ups, and sleepless nights have been a significant part of our lives. We’ve dealt with blood on sheets, battles during diaper changes, and the heartache of watching our boys suffer. But recently, we’ve started seeing a glimmer of hope. Here’s what we’ve changed and how these adjustments have begun to turn things around for our family.

1. Diet Changes

Diet has been a cornerstone in managing my sons’ eczema. We decided to eliminate common allergens and inflammatory foods such as dairy, gluten, refined sugar, seed oils, and corn from their diet.
